Main overhead tools failure reported by ECoR, many trains rescheduled

Bhubaneswar: East Coast Railway immediately reported a serious overhead tools failure. Failure of OHE was reported at Gumada station yard in Rayagada-Vizianagaram railway part. Because of this practice companies in Rayagada-Vizianagaram railway part had been affected, the ECoR stated.

Three pairs of trains have been cancelled, and a pair have been diverted. Beneath are the main points:

Cancellation of Trains:

A. 18528 Visakhapatnam – Rayagada Specific from Visakhapatnam on 05.05.2022.

B. 18527 Rayagada – Visakhapatnam Specific from Rayagada on 06.05.2022.

C. 08528/08527 Visakhapatnam-Raipur-Visakhapatnam Specific on 06.05.2022 in each instructions.

D. 08546/08545 Visakhapatnam-Koraput-Visakhapatnam Specific on 06.05.2022 from each the instructions.

Rescheduling of Trains:

18518 Visakhapatnam to Visakhapatnam – Korba Specific will depart Visakhapatnam by two hours behind its scheduled time on 05.05.2022.

Diversion of Trains:

A. 22973 Gandhidham-Puri Specific will depart from Gandhidham on 04.05.2022 by way of Titilagarh-Sambalpur-Angul-Khurda street bypassing Titilagarh-Rayagada-Vizianagaram-Khurda street route.

B. 18448 Jagdalpur-Bhubaneswar Hirakhand Specific will run from Jagdalpur on 05.05.2022 by way of Koraput-Araku-Kottavalasa-Vizianagaram bypassing Koraput-Rayagada-Vizianagaram railway part.
